Shelter Rentals

Shelter rates are based upon four (4) hour rentals
9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Additional fees apply for overtime hours
Inside Restroom hours M-F 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. / Sat. 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. / Sun 1-6 p.m.
OUTDOOR RESTROOMS ARE OPEN WEEKENDS FROM 10 AM - 6 PM

Pineville Lake Park

1000 Johnston Drive/Lakeview Drive

Pineville Lake Park has two playground areas, a lake surrounded by a ½ mile walking trail, two picnic shelters. Shea Stage at Lake Park is best known for Rockin’ & Reelin’ a series of movies and concerts from May thru Sept.

Park Hours: 6:00 am – 10:00 pm

Large Shelter: Located near the playground area makes it a perfect setting for birthday parties, family reunions and church picnics.

Small Shelter: Located by the Lake away from the playground makes this a quiet setting for smaller groups.

Picnic shelters may be reserved year-round. Call the Belle Johnston Community Center at (704) 889-2400 for additional information or inquire about availability.

Facility and Picnic Shelter Rental Information

Reservations are accepted by residents no more than 12 months in advance and non-residents 11 months in advance. No holds will be put on any facility or picnic shelter. Full fee is due at booking.
Special permission required and an additional $10 per hour is charged for rentals beyond the normal hours of operation.
No refunds will be given. Renter may reschedule within one year from rental date. In the event of rain, you must reschedule within one year from rental date.
Cancellations within one week of reserved date will result in forfeiture of all rental fees and no rescheduling
Other rules and fees apply, per the rental agreement. For additional information, contact the Community Center.
