It’s not too late to get in shape and join us for the annual James K. Polk 5K, 1 mile walk or Tot Trot. Whether you come out and run, or cheer on race participants, this is one of the most exciting events to take part in. Come out and join hundreds of runners supporting the Charlotte Children’s Choir. The Charlotte Children’s Choir seeks to inspire, educate and enrich the lives of children from all backgrounds by instilling in them a lifelong love of singing.

STREET CLOSINGS DURING RACE: The following streets will be CLOSED for a short time beginning @ 7:45 on race day, July 25. Johnston Dr., Childers Lane, Cone Ave., Eden Circle, Boatright Rd., and Lakeview Dr.
